Is the MSI RTX 4060 video card compatible with Gigabyte AB350M V2.0 DS3H AM4 motherboard? I know the motherboard has a gen 3 PCI-e slot and the video card a gen 4, but that version difference are still compatible despite the difference. My question is if whether or not the video card would fit into the PCIe slot of the motherboard.

You can know about the motherboard specs here.

That's all i needed to know, thanks for reading.

Yes its fully compatible and PCIE is backwards compatible.

Nothing to worry about, install the GPU and game away  👍👍

Thank you very much. I got another question if you don't mind answering. Is a PSU of 600W enough for a MSI RTX 3060 12GB?

Well its more of an APU if im not mistaken. An AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 4.4GHz Turbo with a Wraith Stealth Cooler.

That will be fine with the RTX 4060 and the 600w PSU.

It's a Be Quiet! 600W 80 Plus Bronze U9

Thats an okay PSU.  Its on the low end but useable 🙂

Happy gaming!

But my second question was for the MSI RTX 3060 12GB. Not the RTX 4090

Sorry.. its 3AM here 😄

It will work with the 3060 too, No problem at all.

600w is plenty enough for the 5600G and RTX 3060.

I have a Ryzen 7700x and an overclocked RTX 4080 and I see around 430-480w full system wattage during heavy gaming.  Even I could get away with a solid 600w in theory.

Low end means very much more than enough for RTX 4060

great budget choice, I'm sure it handled some games pretty decently

What do YOU mean?

By low end I mean a PSU that is not in danger of blowing up or causing harm to components.

But still not high end reliable like a RMx.

Under low end is well, Apevia PSU's.

Well, not high-end reliable like RMx/RMe, but still reliable enough to not fry other components or explode.

yes

dunno why youd want an rtx 3060 or 4060 though as theyre pretty awful compared to the 6750xt or b580 around the same price and further demolished by used 6800xt and 3080 around the 350$ mark

what specific psu though? if you dont know just send a pic of it and its wattage table

quite power efficient, soc sips power compared to the regular ryzen cpus and the imc is capable of 5000 1:1 so you can mitigate the halved cache just by clocking your rams higher, should be able to comfortably handle even a 6950xt given the psu is half decent

by default itll be slower than a ryzen cpu due to that halved cache but run it at 4.6-4.7 allcore with ddr4 4600+ and it should be able to catch up to a tuned 4.7-4.8 allcore 5600 so if you need more cpu performance those are some pretty simple ways to improve it
