Strange issue with power

Hi, all!

 

I have a really odd issue which occurs every time I shut down my PC.

 

It turns off fine, however, when I go to turn it back on - it does nothing...

 

I am forced to reconnect the power switch connector every time.

 

Any thoughts on what this could be. I had ensured that the connector was firmly seated so I am at a loss to figure out why it is angry at me
