What M2 ? Most don't need any, only Gen5 really, a small metal plate with paste is enough to cool them, and afaik no SSD heatsink are very big - for example those on boards are like 2 cm high max

i do plan to get a gen5 i don't know witch one tho i only care about what the max weight could be

Sorry no one sells heatsink by the pound... nor weighs them 😛

New Gen5 drives have better controller and get less hot than the first gen, they usually come with an efficient cooler as well

Plus I'm not aware of a motherboard with a Gen 5 slot that doesn't come with an adequate enough heatsink.
