Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Every 4 or 5 years I build a brand new PC from scratch getting the best or near the best components I can, so it'll last another 4 to 5 years without going too obsolete.  Well, it's been 5 years, so I'll be building new in 2025.  Currently have a Ryzen 9 3900x CPU mounted on an X570 Aorus Master board.  64GB memory (DDR4), and 2, 1TB M2 drives.  The PSU is a 1200w.  Oh, and the GPU is a GeForce RTX 3600 Ti.  It's still a good system, but I'll be donating it to my church and replacing the Fellowship Hall PC (an old i5 Dell something or other).

I am sticking with AMD as my Ryzen 9 has served me well.  I also like the Gigabyte Aorus board, but am willing to change brands if recommended.  Not into RGB all that much.  Also, I currently have two Samsung 32" curved monitors (C32F391).  No bad pixels (yet) but they're going on 3 years old.  And suggestions for better monitors?

Does this look like a good build, and what recommendations would you suggest, keeping it under 4000.00 US, and is there any word that prices will be coming down over the next few months?

Thanks!

Id consider 9800X3D instead unless if your code is massive, and your compiler cant be accelerated to GPU. Also you're on Canadian PCPP, here's US PCPP.

Wait up on 5080 launch though, and see how availability goes. Because itll be in similar 1000$ price range.
