What's the rest of your rig? You'll be fine with a 650w power supply. Go for one from Seasonic or Corsair (other good ones, but these two are my favorite).

For context, I use 750W for my 780 (250W TDP) SLI rig.

Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow; Motherboard: MSI ZZ490 Gaming Edge; CPU: i7 10700K @ 5.1GHz; Cooler: Noctua NHD15S Chromax; RAM: Corsair LPX DDR4 32GB 3200MHz; Graphics Card: Asus RTX 3080 TUF; Power: EVGA SuperNova 750G2; Storage: 2 x Seagate Barracuda 1TB; Crucial M500 240GB & MX100 512GB; Keyboard: Logitech G710+; Mouse: Logitech G502; Headphones / Amp: HiFiMan Sundara Mayflower Objective 2; Monitor: Asus VG27AQ

No.

Since the GTX 770's TDP is 230W, you probably want a PSU somewhere in the range of 750W (~62 amps on the 12v rail) or greater, though you can technically get away with running them on a ~600W PSU (50 A?) but that'd be cutting it a little close..

All of the following are good brands:

  • EVGA
  • Corsair
  • NZXT HALE Series
  • Fractal Design
  • SeaSonic
  • Antec
  • XFX

I'm not asking about wattage just the amps it's says a 770 requires 42A. So do I add the amperes to together or no?

Scroll up and read @TheRetiredSlave's post.

Amperage and wattage are related.

The card itself doesn't require 42A, they just recommend a 42A (minimum) PSU for systems that are using a GTX 770 as the primary GPU.. Since their recommendation factors in the power usage of the other components and some overhead, their estimation is quite a lot more than what you actually need..

Like both MegaDave91 and I said, a 600W or 650W (50-54A on the 12v rail) PSU would be the bare minimum you could technically use.. A 750W (62A @ 12v) is a good choice for dual 770 system, though it's not an issue to buy an overkill PSU.
