I have an alienware pro gaming mouse. It was working for a few days after I got it, but now it only works properly in wired mode. If i try to use the dongle, it only moves the cursor when im pressing another button on the mouse. if I'm not pressing any other button on the mouse then it won't move.

I have tried updating drivers and tried on 2 different windows machines and a mac. they all behave the same

Not familiar with what Alienware's peripheral software is like. Do you have the option to update firmware?

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

This issue happened the day after updating to the current newest firmware. Was working the day before on the same driver.

Is it possible that the mouse worked after updating the firmware up to the next reboot ?

I'd say there is a bug in the firmware. Contact Alienware to see if you can roll back to the previous firmware.

There's no way to contact support. When I go to put my mouse in as the device, the only options are to view support articles or a number for the disabled.
