Intermittent fan squeaking

I notice some times one of my pc fans will squeak for a few seconds then it will go away it's so intermittent that i can't capture an audio clip to explain it. Anyone know what might be causing this? 

just to be clear it sounds like a mouse squeaking 

It's also quiet sounding

Sometimes GPU fans have that, usually need to be taken apart and put blade oil in there. But this is a last step before replacement.
