So this computer has been used for 4 years. iBuyPower unfortunately. Got kernel 41 error in the event viewer, causing my computer to force reset. Started crashing while streaming PAINT with discord. The paint from microsoft. Then came to overwatch 2, then marvel rivals (this game has tons of game crashes with UE5 but only once did it force restart) and hogwarts legacy. Play that game for like 30 mins then crashes. Now i found out, that error could literally be anything. Got i7-11700f, rtx 2060, 600w 80+ gold, 16gb (2x8) ddr4 3000mhz, B560 DS3H AC-Y1 motherboard. Got that error after changing PSU and Ram at the same time, going from what I mentioned to a ASUS TUF 850W 80+ Gold and 32gb (2x16) ddr4 3600 mhz. So we switched the gpu from the rtx 2060 to a radeon 7700 xt, still crashed afterwards. If not faster now with a stronger gpu. Went from 30 mins of playing hogwarts to just the settings to cause the kernel 41 error and crash.

Took it to geeksquad. They mentioned it could have been the OS, without realizing that could be another trouble shoot. They didn't even have a different rig to test out the components. They stressed tested the 7700 xt 4 times and failed all times. Put in a gtx 1060, and passed without fail. But they didnt try anything after the os reinstall. So we finally took it back today, still crashed after the os reinstall. They didn't even try the motherboard to be the issue, which we really do think is the issue. Now we took that rtx 2060 and put it in another rig ourselves, with a ryzen 5 1600, hp8309 motherboard, 8gb ddr4 (no idea if 8gb or 16 gb), 500w bronze 80+, gtx 1060. Switched the 1060 and put 2060, played both marvel rivals and hogwarts legacy, played all perfectly fine. So could this really be geeksquad not trying all different troubleshoot options, or just a bad motherboard when they stressed tested the machine. Would be a big help if someone can send a good motherboard replacement or a way of troubleshooting a motherboard.
