Hello everyone, i am thinking about changing the power supply on my HP Pavilion TP01-3003w and i have a 4 pin cpu and a 4 pin mobo power, how do i get around this? can i use my second 4 pin from my cpu power? can i use the +4 off my 24 pin?, pls help. I also have a PWRCMD cable with it, can i get around that or no.

This is the problem with proprietary components. I have no clue about this model, but I've seen adapters for regular ATX PSU that connect to HP motherboards. Too many different models and uncertainty if it will actually work. The price for a complete system and service they provide within the warranty is good from my expereince, but I don't want to use HP prebuilt anymore as personal computer. You might be better off inquiring about if it was a direct purchase from HP.
