Windows 7 changes settings spontaneously by itself

I've had this problem for quite a while and never really bothered doing anything about it, but it's starting to really get on my nerves.

It mainly does two things:
1. Changes the sorting in places that's not File explorer windows (Window for Add/remove programs, or the Games window, for example)
2. Deactivates "Show window content when using Drag 'n drop" or whatever that setting's called.
 
It does this completely at random.

Has anyone else experienced this before?
