I’m looking to spend up to $30 USD on an air cooler for my custom Ryzen 7600X + Arc B580 build.

(Yes, I know the B580 is currently out of stock, but the 7600X has onboard graphics so I can wait it out)

I’ve ordered the Thermalright Assassin X120 SE Refined, but either another item used to fulfill the Amazon $35 threshold or the Thermalright is taking forever to ship, as it has been one week since I placed my order to no avail. Amazon simply reports “Ordered” with the progress bar ever so close but not into the “shipped” section.

Do I order the Cooler Master Hyper 212 from Micro Center? Or is it better worth it to wait it out?

EDIT:

Ordered 12/23/24

The other item in question delivered in a total of 4 days (11/9 - 11/13)

What did it say about delivery date when you ordered?

I noticed over the holidays many of my orders took much longer than expected. The estimated time frames already were longer than usual. And the delivery came towards the end of the range. Not sure where you are and what holiday you may have, but I hope the backlog is worked down soon. We have Prime, so most things usually are 1-2 days. If you don't have prime, you likely are at the very end of the list.

I'd go for a Peerless Assassin, even if it is overkill. Or pick a different TR 120mm cooler. Will be silent.

BTW, the Thermalright Assassin X120 SE only cost $18 and it tells me January 5th delivery date where I live. Sold by Thermalright. Looks like a great cooler for a 6-core. Or order the 7600, that comes with stock cooler that can hold you over till your cooler arrives. For AMD, stock cooler is fine if you don't mind the noise and don't use PBO.
