What m.2 slots do i use?

Go to solution Solved by GuiltySpark_,

Either of these two M.2 slots are direct CPU connected NVMe capable slots. As for what you use for your boot drive, up to you. I would always boot from NVMe if given the option. Also when you say SATA drive, I assume you mean 2.5" SATA, not M.2 SATA?

Just had a quick question as to what slots i should use for my boot drive and what one i should use for my main storage drive on my motherboard. I have a gigabyte b650 gaming x ax v2. i currently have a 500gb sata ssd that ive had for about 4 years now (i use this for my boost as well as MSFS too help with the loading in of all the assets) so i guess another question i have is should i just stick with the sata drive as my boot drive and get an m.2 as my main storage?
