Ok so I got a new gaming pc from Lenovo. I got a Lenovo legion tower 7i desktop with an intel i9 14900kf and a 4070ti super. It came with 2x16gb or 32gb of ram but was not the greatest at 4000mhz. Anyways thought I’d upgrade the RAM. Got me some Corsair dominator titanium RAM and its specs are 2x32gb so 64gb, 6600mhz and 1.4volts. Timings are 32-39-39-76 that’s all I know cuz that’s what’s on the box lol. Ok so question is, what do I set this new ram up like in my bios? Xmp does not work and this motherboard apparently doesn’t support whatever those settings are. So the only other option to get it to boot is to put everything in auto. Now, it does boot up. Problem being that it’s only utilizing the exact same speeds and everything of the stock RAM that came with it. Defeats the purpose, no? This motherboard can run up to 5600mhz. Ok, so I put that up and leave everything else on auto. Great it boots and now it’s running at 5600mhz. Well what about all the other settings with timings and voltage? Especially voltage. Does that need to be raised at all to account for the higher RAM speeds? The stock runs at 1 volt. This RAM says it runs at 1.4 volts. Should I up the voltage to 1.4 in my bios or leave it at the stock voltage at 1 volt? Thanks. Sorry I know nothing about this stuff and just want this to not only run, but run well. Cuz it does run at 1 volt. Just not sure if that’s ideal since it states 1.4 volts? Thanks again. And sorry for being such an idiot…… thanks in advance if anyone can be of any help here

The issue is that this is a Lenovo. Prebuilts like this don't give any support for memory overclocking in general, so you're stuck with whatever the JEDEC speed your kit is rated for.

If you're still within the return window, return it and just get a 2x32GB 5600 CL46 rated kit instead as that will perform identically. Practically I'd recommend doing that no matter what because of how overpriced the Dominator kits are, though especially because you can't use any speed faster than 5600 CL46.

you say its slow but its really just normal and buying that super fast ram was a bad idea, especially for a Lenovo pre-built.  best to return the ram and use what came with the LENOVO PREBUILT tbh.
