Do APU's need driver updates?

Hehe I barely know anything about APU's

Enthoo Primo - ASUS Maximus Formula VII - 4790k 4.8ghz 1.28v - EK Supremacy Evo Clean - 16GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical - 1000w EVGA Supernova Gold - 2x Alphacool Monsta Rads in push/pull - 2x Galaxy 780 HoF with EK waterblock

The integrated GPU gets driver updates via catalyst like any other AMD GPU.

APUs do indeed have a regular cadence of driver updates which introduce new functionality and improve performance of newly released games just like regular graphics cards. Intel's integrated GPUs also require driver updates but the drivers are far far less frequent and far less game specific.
