Hey everyone, I think I'm finally ready to build my new PC. I have two priorities: Good performance/$ and having the PC last as long as possible.

Forum posts, youtube videos, and review sites have all been a big help. Here's the final list of parts I've arrived at:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jtkV74

Spoiler

CPU: AMD AMD Ryzen 5 7600X

CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Freezer 36

Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING B650-E WIFI

Memory: Kingston Fury Beast Black 32GB (2x 16GB) DDR5 6000MHz

Storage: Kingston FURY Renegade NVMe 2TB

Video Card: SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 7800 XT GAMING OC 16GB

Case: Fractal Design Pop Air Black Solid

Power Supply: Be quiet! PURE POWER 12 M 750W

Total: €1434

Are there any glaringly poor choices? I've found a good deal on the nitro+ GPU, the motherboard, the SSD, and the CPU cooler.

The only thing I myself am having second thoughts about is the CPU cooler - will it provide sufficient cooling for the Ryzen 5 7600 X?

Many thanks, you guys are the best!

Edit: I'm also planning to use this support to prevent GPU sag - any thoughts on that?

Overall is good, just want to know, is Kingston the major known brand in Austria?
There are lots of other options that offer more specs with relatively similar price (depending on the import tax)

For the CPU cooler is a bit overkill for Ryzen 7600X, maybe you have plan for future upgrade to Ryzen  7 or 9?

Any GPU anti-sag support is fine, as long as it your PC case has place for it to hold against your GPU, I would advise since your PC case is ATX and you would most likely place the GPU on the first PCIe slot, the GPU anti-sag should be able to extend up to 7-8cm.

But based on the link for the product, I'm not sure if it's capable of extending to that size

On the bright side, current GPU comes with anti-sag, usually attached to the rear panel of the case

I suggest this size would be a safe choice if you prefer to have third party anti-sag

I share my GPU-anti sag for reference

Thank you! Going Kingston for both RAM and the M.2 NVMe SSD is really just a coincidence.

The RAM was the cheapest 2x16GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 choice I could find (115 EUR). The 2TB drive was sold at a discount that made it as cheap as the cheapest 2TB NVMe SSDs that I've seen on offer (120 EUR - cheaper than Samsung and WD; on par with Crucial but with twice as high read and write speeds).

Is the CPU cooler really overkill? I'm hoping the 7600X lasts me a really long time and I'm not planning any future upgrades. The Arctic Freezer 36 simply had good reviews and a price of just 19 EUR. I was actually worried it might not be enough 😅.

Edit: And thank you very much for the anti-sag support input! The max length of the VC-20 Mini is only 50 mm so I think you're right it wouldn't be enough.

My bad, it was late night and I didn't notice it's "Arctic Freezer" tower style instead of the regular Arctic AIO "Liquid Freezer"
