Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Streaming with OBS to TikTok Creator Studio and Twitch

Planning on building my first PC, below is the PC Part Picker link with the components I plan on using! Any insight

would be greatly appreciated! 🙂 I plan on streaming off my PS5 with a capture card to Twitch and TikTok, and doing

some light video editing.

ok if you aren't gaming with the machine then you don't need a gpu , which means the power supply also doesn't have to be 850 watts either. If the only real task it has is just streaming some low res video and light video editing then all of that can be done with just the cpu and onboard graphics.

I’d do some occasional gaming on stream which is why I have a GPU selected. As far as resolution goes, do you think I could achieve 1440p with my current build? Thank you!

Perhaps, does the GPU have to be Nvidia for some program reason? Or could it be AMD too?

Can save some $ if you do more/less in some areas, for example instead of 2 2TB drives which one is HDD, you can just get one 4TB NVME and make 2TB partitions if you want to have more than one storage "areas"

you should put this in the op post so we don;t waste time recommending parts based on incomplete information. is there anything else the machine will be doing that was also not disclosed?

just about any computer from the last decade should display a 1440p image regardless of spec. did you want to do anything at 1440p or just output a signal at 1440p?
