I've been having issues while playing games that are taxing on my PC.

When playing games like Escape from Tarkov I usually get around 40 fps. My GPU usage hardly hops over 40%, my CPU usage is usually around 30-40%, and my memory usage hovers around 70%.

I've had this issue since I built this computer four years ago, and I'm desperate for any help I can get.

I would also love any recommendations for new parts, I currently can't tell if I'm bottlenecking or have some other hardware/software issue.

What is the per core use? Likely one core is maxed out.

And now do you see your problem?

I suppose I do, is there any way to fix it? Do I need a new CPU? Is this causing all of the issues?

I'm not well versed in this, and am struggling to wrap my head around the problem.

Not really. You are maxing out a couple of cores, only way to really fix it is overclock or new cpu that is faster/higher ipc.

Ah I see.

So a new CPU would resolve the issues? Do you have any recommendations for a CPU that would fit my system? I have a 2070 Super, and 32gb of 3600mhz RAM.

Also, thank you for taking the time to help!

Which motherboard are you using? I see you are on am4, so the king for gaming would be a 5800x3d. Update the bios and it drops right in. Same with the 5700x3d.
