PC Powers Off At Random

Go to solution Solved by LogicalDrm,

Temps ok? Sounds bit like overheating shutdown.

Hey

So I've been painting my room and had to move my Rig out. This was on like Saturday, since I've painted most of my room now I can move the Rig back in. Now when the PC is turned out it will get past the login screen onto the desktop, and give it a good 5 minutes to a hour and it will shut its self down, I've tried taking to a PC repair shop and everything and even they couldn't fix it. Sometimes it will be Ok and I can play a game for like 30 minutes then shutdown.

I've checked that it is seated right. Even a Computer shop has redone it for me, the pump seemed to be working right. As you can hear the loud motor in it, if you are close enough that is.

Then it's the power supply running short. You should consider changing it for a bigger one.

Are you running SLI or crossfire configurations?
