AIDA 64 or prime95 for the cpu

memtest for ram

So I spelt something wrong in my post... I don't care I don't read through what I write and I type very quickly.

Intel 3770k stock, MSI Z77A-GD65, MSI GTX 760, Corsair Vengence DDR3 1600Mhz 16Gb, Corsair RM 550W, Samsung 830 256Gb, some random hdds.

Once the system is up install anti-virus & anti-malware software (AVG, Avast, Malwarebytes are some examples having no charge for personal use licenses). Install any drivers that need installing. Then update Windows and everything else that needs updating. If all of that works you should be good to go. If you want you can run something like the AIDA 64 stress test overnight, but I don't believe that sort of burn in is really necessary.

Try to keep BIOS changes to a minimum initially. You will probably want to make sure that memory settings are correct for the kit you bought. You may need to enable various ports, e.g. LAN. Also check that the boot priority is what you want. Other than that you should be able to use the defaults for the first while. I suggest getting familiar with the machine at stock before you start to explore fan settings and core/memory timings.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
