Hi,

I ran an update for Davinci resolve, nvidia drivers, and windows 10 on 11/28/24.
Computer was stuck with the spinning wheel on my motherboard screen only letting me into bios. My friend recommended I take the bios battery out for a few minutes and put it back in. Now I cannot enter bios at all or boot the computer.
PC Specs:

motherboard: Asus Tuff Gaming x570-plus(WiFi)

cpu: amd ryzen 9 5900x

ram: 2 sticks of skill ripjaw 16gb each the 2 grey slots (furthest right from the cpu and 3rd furthest right)

gpu: gigabyte nvidia 3080 turbo 10gd rev1.0

aio cpu: cooler master (installed on top 3 fans attached) exhaust

aio gpu alpha cool eiswolf2 (installed vertically hoses on bottom with 3 fans) intake

3 fans on bottom of case intake

Fans: 9 lian li gen 1 uni fan 120

1000watt standard 80 gold PSU.(unsure of name brand)

runs 4 monitors daily.

Pressing f2 or delete on the keyboard does not boot bios. I’ve tried 3 different keyboards and each usb slot. It was working fine until I updated. I was able to boot into bios before I took the bios battery out. When I put it back in I still cannot boot into bios.

So I accidentally found a work around. Because of my AIO’s I guess unplugging EVERYTHING and plugging it back in wiped my bios settings and the error of cpu fan forced me into bios. I’m able to boot! Downloading a bios update since I’m 4 years behind.

you don't have to update your BIOS just because of age. In fact, you would be better off leaving it as-is unless there is a specific feature or stability improvement that you need.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

The new update seems to have fixed the update compatibility with my recent GPU update. Now I’m troubleshooting getting windows to detect my video storage HDD
