This ^^ .. the 9700X is a decent alternative.

I would also consider the 7900/7900x. Another thing you can do is get a 7900xtx instead of the 4080 and then get a 9800x3d, but the CPU is also very overpriced... The build itself is fine though.

Make sure to mark solutions, as it helps us find people who need help faster. Thanks!

I am human and am therefore prone to error, so I apologize if I make mistakes and I hope you understand.

Have a Nice Day!

If it is decent, can u help me make it better, can u mention out the inferior parts or the parts that should not belong in this 2000$ build I can stretch my budget a little more to even out the build

That build is difficult to improve upon. It's pretty much an ideal gaming PC.

You could save a little money by going with a 7900xtx and a cheaper SSD than the SN850X without losing much of any performance

Like the P3 Plus, a decent little bit slower than the SN850X, but it wont be noticable in reality, maybe an extra 1-3 seconds when loading into games, but its more than a third cheaper for the same size, 15.5K vs 10K

Also going for an AG620 cooler which is just a slightly less premium version of the AK620 for cheaper, it, however, doesnt have any less performance, just a few of the aesthetics slightly stripped back

Something like this is a good build for super cheap compared to the build you posted without a major drop in performance (but it is lower performance)

https://pcpricetracker.in/b/s/4924383a-fa99-4a75-8f2d-9fa3a5f9d6b4

If you want the extra then moving up a CPU Tier will give that performance, like below, which will give identical performance to the build youve posted for cheaper (and for reference, the build you posted is the old prices for those components, itll probably be 15-20K INR more expensive now, going off part prices i seen putting these builds together)

Hope this gives a pretty comprehensive answer and some alternatives for you

It is a really solid gaming build.

Without going for rare or very expensive parts there isn't a lot more that you could change.

I have a few thoughts:

GPU: Check the games that you're playing and the resolution that you're looking at: there are certainly a few use-cases where a RX7900XTX would save you money AND give better performance. Personally, I'd probably still go with a RTX4080S, but that's because the RX7900XTX doesn't fit in my case with my current cooler setup.

CPU: I would try to stick with the 7800X3D if you can - without waiting for the 9800X3D, there isn't anything else better for gaming.

RAM: Make sure that the GSkill FlareX5 is the CL30 version: there are some retailers that know how popular the GSkill FlareX5 DDR6 6000 CL30 kits are.... and they're trying to sell the CL36 version and just advertising them as "GSkill FlareX5 DDR6 6000".... but neglecting to mention the worse CL rating. F5-6000J3038F16GX2-FX5 is the part that you want in that range!

Cooler: If you are worried about running it in a hot environment, then perhaps an AIO? The AK620 should be fine for a 7800X3D (very cool CPU!), but I'm a huge fan using an AIO to control the source of the CPU cooling. I put them on the INtake, to force the CPU to use fresh air from the room, which them eliminates any worries about the GPU heating up the case at all. This was almost mandatory for my RTX3080Ti  FE (blow-through cooler), which is my main 1440P gaming rig.... but I did the same thing for my RTX4080S (TV rig), even though the GPU has it's own AIO, complete overkill, but I like it 🤣 (Arctic Freezer 280mm for both of mine)

Storage / PSU: are a great start: you've got good solid makes/models there, so any changes would be personal choice, there's nothing to criticise or steer you away from - there are cheaper or more premium alternatives, but nothing that will really move the needle.

Main rig: Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX3080Ti FE, 32Gb Teamgroup Create-T DDR5-6000C30, AC Freezer3 280mm AIO, Asrock Steel Legend X670E, M.2 2Tb Samsung 990 Pro, M.2 1Tb WDSN550, SATA 8Tb WD80EFAX, Corsair HX850, LianLi O11 Air Mini + 3x NF-A14's, MSI MPG 271QRX (27"/1440P/360Hz), Gigabyte M27Q (27"/1440P/170Hz), Asus PA248 (24"/1200P/60Hz), G815 kbd, G Pro X Superlight 2, Audezee Maxwell.

Games room "TV rig": 5800X3D, AC Freezer2 280mm AIO, ASUS Prime B450M, RTX4080S w/iChill AIO, 32Gb TridentZ DDR4-3600C14, M.2 500Gb & 1Tb WDSN550, 8Tb WD80EFAX, BeQuiet Straight 1000W,  LianLi O11 Air Mini, LG G4 (55"/4K/120Hz), G815 kbd, G502 mouse, LG G1 Soundbar / Audezee Maxwell.

Lounge HTPC: Minisforum UM760 Slim, Ryzen 5 7640HS, 16Gb DDR5, 1Tb M.2, LG C2 (42"/4K/120Hz), Logitech Touch K400.
Laptop: LOQ16, RTX4060, 16Gb DDR5, 2x 2Tb SN990 M.2.

NAS: Synology 1812+, 3Gb RAM, 3x16Tb Seagate EXOS RAID5, 1Tb MX500 cache, 3x3Tb WDRED RAID6, 120Gb SSD cache.

Bro I am not asking for an upgrade, I am asking if anything is done cheap on this build for the price to performance ratio, i would like to replace it so I don't stumble upon any problems
