My keyboard’s alt and ctrl are stuck and doesnt register any keys that arent modifier keys. whenever i press filter keys on the windows accessibility options on sign in, my headphones make a fast repetitive clicking noise.

Ive unplugged both my keyboards, my mouse, all my usb devices, booted in safe mode, booted using a different windows OS on a separate drive, all to no avail.

the only thing i havent done is uninstall and  reinstall my keyboard drivers, but i cant even access them because im prevented from signing in.

the clicking sound from filter keys seems to stop after some time after disabling it, which makes me think that somehow my ctrl and alt keys are being spammed extremely fast, although theyre solid on the on screen keyboard.

omg i fixed it

it was literally just because my heavy ass binder was pressing some buttons on my tablet 🤣

i srsly thought i was going to be in a world of mental and/or financial pain

i should rly follow the #1 rule of troubleshooting... which is to always think of and do the easiest solutions first
