Hello, Im an engineering student at a university and I am currently using a M2 pro MacBook Pro and need to upgrade to a windows in order to run programs better like Revit, Rhino, and Civil 3d. I am currently looking at Asus Rog Zephryus g16 since it looks just as sleek as a MacBook and doesn't give off the gaming laptop look. I know this laptop is a little overkill for such programs but id rather buy a 2k dollar gaming laptop then spend 1500 on a dell xps. I also plan on gaming a little bit (only rainbow six siege) not too heavy I don't really have time for it no more but I do want something that can handle light gaming for a few hours on an external monitor and do it well since im dropping so much money. These are the 2 I'm currently looking at but do not know which is better due to me not being too involved in pc's no more (I only know up to gtx 1080 everything past that is new to me) and idk the difference between a AMD AI chip and a intel chip. Ive been recommended to stick to AMD recently by a friend but I just want professional help to know the difference and which is better for me.

Also the intel one has less storage but is still alot more money which is what I dont understand, is the AMD ryzen AI 9 HX just a bad chip? Additionally the intel is running WIFI 6e I believe and the AMD one is running WIFI 7, should that be a factor I look into?

At the end of the day I am just looking for a gaming laptop that will last me through undergrad and grad school and not look too bulky and rgb's. I still want to game on it very lightly, so if you guys have any other recommendations I will look into it aswell.
