hi, looking for some recommendations on backup software, free or paid(if its a one time fee and can be used on multiple computers) mainly want to backup my C drive with the OS files and programs ive got installed as i have my documents, downloads and most games on other drives, if the backup can be done to an external drive that would be awesome since at the moment my C drive is only at 75GB GB used out of 2TB, want to backup everything before i start doing some windows 11 tweaks in case something breaks, i change my mind or something else happens, thanks in advance

Windows has a built-in backup system, which can store backups on internal, external or network storage.

You can access it through control panel > Backup and Restore (Windows 7)

English is not my first language, so please excuse any confusion or misunderstandings on my end, also I like to edit my posts a lot.

Yes. I use it on my Win11 laptop and my Win11 PC.

Are there any other suggestions? I use the Win 7 backup but even Microsoft seems to be pushing users to File History over the older Win 7 backup. So at some point soon I feel like it will be deprecated. It's pretty cool software because you can mount the vdh files from the backup and see/copy all of your files from the backup. I'm just wondering if there is any feedback on the other options out there? AOMEI, Macrium, Easeus, etc.
