PC seometimes "lagging" behind

I have pc since about 1 year with the current specs:

i9-13900K

RTX 4070 Ti

64GB RAM

B760 MSI Motherboard

850W PSU

 

Recently I have had the issue, where my whole pc just run "slow" sometimes. Like for example, Opera GX not correctly responding or responding with a delay, windows taking time to load up information, apps start slower than usual, etc.

I did hear, that there was a specific issue with my the i9-13900K and the 14th gen, but didn't go deep into it, since my pc worked fine. But now I slowly see my pc "lagging" behind, not doing tasks properly.
Does someone have an idea, what the issue could be?

I know, the issue is very broad, but with enough investigation, I think everything is fixable!

well if you call full replacement a fix, then yes!

Well, I thought so....

Though I'm not sure what I should do at this point.
Since I don't have the money to fully replace my cpu and motherboard (I know I'll get my CPU refunded by my original vendor).

Should I get a new replaced i9-13900K, go back one gen or get to the next?
Or should I just consider completely stepping over to AMD and with which CPU?

if you can get a refund then buy AMD.

 

make a new topic if you actually have the refund as for what Ryzen CPU would be most suitable.
