external blue ray player help

I have a dainty blue ray player from amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DL5WQPN?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details&th=1 ) is there anyway I can change it to region 0 instead of region 1 on my pc? I would like to watch other dvd's that have different region codes then my own.

(I have looked through the available dvd region list in my device manger didn't find any option for region 0)

I believe Region 0 is a property of the DVD saying it will play in any region; there's no such thing as a Region 0 drive. The drive itself must always have a region number, and it can be changed a finite number of times.

You would have to put the disc thru a burner app like Passkey, strip the region and protections and then reburn it and you would be able to watch the disc on any blu ray for the most part.
