My pc boots up then goes into automatic repair, Before this there was a burning smell and it powerd off I originally thought It was the gpu but I put it in a seccondery pc and it worked fine.

I have also tried new ram and that didn't work and whenever I boot it says automatic repair couldn't work and shows me a path to srttrail.txt file.

On a wim I put the boot ssd into another pc and it works fine it's only when In my pc it gets stuck into automatic repair.

Things tried.

New ram

New gpu

Cmos/bios reset

New boot drive

Rollback to backup

Automatic repair

Fresh windows 11 installation

Any help appreciated

Burning smell should be a warning to not boot your PC until you find the source.

You smelled your PSU ? This is the first thing to check when burn components happen. If it's the PSU, then change it even it it works again. It has become a fire hazard.
