Hello... I would wait until tomorrow when the new Core Ultra Series comes out. The 13th & 14th Gen Intel CPUs have serious issues that Destroy the CPU and there is no reversing the Damage. So I have 3 options for you. The first is a 12900K 12th Gen Build that has no issues. 2nd is the New Core Ultra i7 265K w/ Z890 Motherboard, the Core Ultra i7 265K has the same amount of Cores as the 14900K it has 20 Cores & 20 Threads. 3rd is a AMD 7800X3D Build.

You can take your pick and you decide. Feel free to ask me anything. I respond much faster on Discord: Wizardsnapper#2772 as I have it open 24/7.

Thanks for the reply

I was under the impression that the 14 generation chips were updated to not spontaneously combust anymore lol

as for the new generation as to an my limited knowledge can see it’s generally a bad idea to get one at first they seem to need lots of updates and such for the first few months so you really don’t know what your getting until then and the motherboards seem seen very expensive lol

and something I should have mentioned the reason I went with a super big cooler is because the room I’m in normally gets 40 degrees c in the summer heat and the noise from the heat is something I’m trying to avoid but maybe bigger isn’t better I honestly don’t know

Well then... I would go with the 12900K Build if you are really into Intel or the AMD Ryzen 5700X3D if you want a more Immersive Experience for Gaming and not even worry about the Newer Intel CPUs for a year or 2 if you really really want one but 13th & 14th Gen Intel is really bad right now and if you get one it's a waste of money because Intel is not Servicing them at all, no returns, exchanges, or refunds.

I know you said that you wanted a Big Cooler but the Thermalright Frozen Notte is a 360mm AIO Water Cooler and are MUCH BETTER at Cooling a CPU buy at least 20c. I've seen the Best Air Coolers on the Intel Core i9 14900K and see it go over 90c-110c, the AIO takes them down to about 75c-80c and that's the Hottest CPU there is. If you used the AIO on the 12900K or the 5700X3D then you could see Temps in the Range of 30c-50c while under Load.

Again, I'm always here to answer any questions. I really do respond much faster on my Discord: Wizardsnapper#2772 .
