If the enclosure supports UASP, then yes it supports TRIM. Keep in mind that many SSDs (especially modern ones) do their own garbage collection, independent of OS initiated TRIM (Windows "optimize drive" done in lieu of defrag).

 

This is the conclusion I came to after raising a question & concern about an NVME enclosure mentioned by LTT where the manufacturer claimed it didn't support TRIM, but CrystalDiskInfo and a reply to my topic confirmed that it DOES support TRIM.

 

Aside from that NVME enclosure, I personally use a Sabrent 2.5" SATA SSD enclosure, which I confirmed also supports UASP with TRIM and such.
