Hey all, getting into medium end audio setup with my new record player and have these klipsch R41-M speakers, I got an amplifier (AK45 from Daakro) and obviously connected with speaker wire, they sound great but there is a low static I cannot get rid of πŸ˜•Β any help about how to mitigate this would be super appreciated!Β

Does the static persist if you disconnect the record player? Does the static follow the volume knob or is it always the same?

It’s always the same, makes me think I just need to upgrade the amp or shorten the line?

I should say, it goes down if I adjust treble and bass on my amplifier but volume doesn’t change it

Yeah, this appears to be a "you get what you pay for" situation.

SMSL, Fosi, Topping, and AIYAMA already make awesome budget options. Trying to be cheaper that that... well.. don't bother.

Β

Additionally, it's possible that your turntable, or the phono preamp used by the turntable is extremely poor quality and is causing its own noise issues.
