My pc just stops

 I am new to the forums so I apologize if I put this in the wrong place, I’ve been watching for a while and now I have come across a problem that I can’t find a solution for anywhere. Whenever I turn my pc off and come back the next day it works completely fine until I load a game then ether one of two things will happen 1 the screen and whole pc with just lock up and freeze and I have to force restart it, 2 it will just reboot completely on its own. After it does that when I go back to play games it works fine until the next day when I turn it on again and it does the same thing, and works fine again. So on and so on. It only does it when I game if I’m watching videos or working it’s fine. I think it only ever did it once while I was editing a word document but it’s only constant when I open a game. I'm unsure whether or not you've already done the basic diagnostics, so here goes:
1. Did you run "sfc /scannow" and "dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" in Command Prompt with Administrator?
2. Did you reset your BIOS to default, and potentially even updated it to the most recent available version provided by your motherboard's manufacturer?

3. What are the specs of your machine, in case your answer to 2 is "no"?

4. What are your PC's thermals?

Sounds like a thermal issue, first I'd request you reply with or edit your post to have your full PC specs. Then I'd say install HWMonitor or HWInfo 64 and monitor your CPU and GPU temps while idle and gaming. If your temps are fine, the next thing I'd look into is out of date drivers, Bios, Graphics, Chipset, etc. Make sure all drivers are up to date. See if the issues persist.
