TBH the best coolant is just distilled water with a silver kill coil in it (there has been a lot of testing done on this can link if needs be). However I assume you want dye in it so mayhems or EK's coolant would both work, I do not think there would be a huge difference between the two so whatever you can get cheaper/easier.

I agree with @D3LTA9. Some of these fluids will eventually gunk up your system and nothing is better than just plain distilled water with a kill coil as a biocide. I have experience with mayhem and have had no problems with their dyes. Good luck!

Both my brother and I use EK EKoolant.

They are basicly destilled water in different colors with Biocides and anti corosiion additives premixed.

We have used them for a year now, and have never had an issue with this coolant.

I opted out of the kill coils since after a while they will start to corode.

And if they arent replaced they might start sending particles around your loop.

But that isnt untill you have had them for a good while though.

an example of this would be: http://goo.gl/hKQwK7

This is an extreme example though.

Using Feser 1 Advanced here....clear Coolant though.....cant beat $12 / bottle....change it out every 6 months.

The gunking up of Blocks....from what I've read (tons of research on the Subject), is caused by Plasticizers within the tubing....not the Coolant itself.

If you're providing 6 month - 12 month maintenance to your Loop, cant see this being an issue.
