My memory isn't working, how would I be able to fix it?

What specs do you have? What memory slots did you use?

Are you putting the memory in the 2 grey slots?

 

After you first turn it on, are you waiting 5 minutes?

try one stick at a time, and then in each of the slots.

 

If one stick doesn't work, try the second stick.

 

If none work:

Try reseating the CPU and then test RAM again

If that doesn't work, it's time to start RMAing parts

How would I reset the CPU without taking it out? Or is that not possible?

to reseat the CPU you have to take it out of the socket and put it back in.

Yep, it won't turn on now tho so I'm gonna try and get someone who actually has a clue what to do to fix it, instead of me trying and confusing myself more

Ok, new problem, it isn't working with 2 ram sticks, but they both work by themselves
