PS4 Spec Equal

Not to be a pain or anything but that PC doesn't really come close to the PS4.

 

I know this website (GPUboss) isn't the greatest but the 7850 is roughly equal to the PS4 (PS4 has a full 7870 silicone but two CUs are disabled for manufacturing reasons).

But @proaliahmadr you'd probably be well off with something like this:

 

microATX:

• AMD Athlon 760K
• Gigabyte A88X-DS2
• 8GB DDR3 (if you do not have DDR3 ram already in system)
• AMD Radeon R9 270

 

Or if you have an ATX case:

• AMD FX6300
• Gigabyte GA970-DS3P
• 8GB DDR3 (again if you don't have)
• AMD Radeon R9 270

 

 

6300FX, 7790 or 7850. 2 cores are locked on the SDK for game devs on consoles. 

 

A R9 270 is a 7870. AMD lists that a 7870 at 2.56 TFLOPS at STOCK. There isn't a r9 270 that won't overclock to a r9 270x sliding some bars over. The PS4 GPU is 1.84 TFLOPS. Xbox One is 1.31, like a 7770 (was 89 bucks 2 years ago). That is all the graphics power these consoles are ever going to push.

 

A 6300fx with a r9 270 will perform much better than a PS4. 7850's are artificially high as far as price. They were 110 bucks during Black Friday and that is what they are worth. All these budget cards are pretty much a ripoff for value/performance in gaming until the r9 270.

 

Also comparing initial cost is stupid since you aren't adding years of Playstation Plus, and looking at Tomb Raider being 7.99 on cheapshark.com (Amazon), and the PS4 version being 60 bucks. You can build a I5 K a z97 and a r9 290/GTX 780 and pay less than a console over time. Consoles are like a bait and switch. Cheaper initially, much more expensive in the long run. Unless you are looking at least a few years in advance, looking at cost of games and online services? The price comparison is not legit and should be laughed at. 

 

Over the last few months on BF4, Tomb Raider, Titanfall, Watch Dog's, NBA 2k 14 you would have saved 175 bucks on the PC. That is just 5 games. Add to that whether you go Nvidia or AMD you get Thief and some other games on an AMD GPU and Watchdog's for free on Nvidia.
