Hangar Module makes gpu go nuts

So when I go into the Hangar module my gpu just goes balls to the wall. 100% usage, temps and fan speeds through the roof.

This happen to anybody else?

It might blow up my laptop so no thanks, I'll be hitting some overkill thermals.

my gpu doesn't go really hot but i don't get great performance although that is almost entirely due to the little optimisation that has been done

sounds like an issue... my 770 barely does any work at 1080p

Hopefully the DFM is more optimized/ easier for our poor GPUs to handle. Wish I had money for a water cooling loop lol

Just checked on my computer.

On the gtx 780 ti reference I have the GPU load at 100% but the temps are around 75C and the fans are almost idle. I've removed any overclocking for this test.

Do you have some hardcore overclocking applied to the gpu?

my 780 has no issues. My fans spool  up, but they do all the time. 

Temps are operational temperatures; nothing special.

Power limit is at 106%

Core clock +125 (maxes at 1117 MHz)

Memory Clock is at +300

 

I use MSI Afterburner. These are the settings suggested by Slick I believe per their GPU overclocking Google doc.

 

I suppose it isn't terrible. Temps up to 80c in the Hangar module. I have a pretty aggressive fan curve as well so it ramps

up to 75-80% at that temp.

somethings wrong with your settings then. i have a 660m and I have no problem with it . or just a godly 660m cause it runs everything amazingly.

not all cards are the same, and yours might not be stable with these settings. run a stress test to see if it is
