Hi, I just ordered all the parts for my first build, and I'm now realizing that motherboards have QVL lists with specific RAM kits that they support. The mobo I got is the ASRock b650 PG Lightning, with a Ryzen 7 7700x, and G Skill flare x5 32 gig cl30 kit (part number F5-6000J3038F16GX2-FX5). The mobo's QVL doesn't list the ram kit I got, but it lists very similar ones with slightly different timings. Will the kit I got work with this mobo? Should I be worried about EXPO not working properly? Thanks for your help.

Yes, ASRock just didn't test this kit. If you look up that model number, G.Skill has their own QVL that lists that motherboard as supported.

Even if it didn't though, I wouldn't really worry about it. The QVL isn't exhaustive, and if there's similar kits with the same memory IC the odds of it not working are extremely low.

That's good to know, thank you!
