[solved] missing drivers

Go to solution Solved by asheenlevrai,

Nevermind, I used GCC (Gigabyte control center) app and it found the missing driver

Hello 🙂

I upgraded a Win11 pro PC with the following:

 - Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi7

 - Ryzen 9 9900X

Now, in Device Manager, I have missing drivers (twice the same entry):

USB Connector Managers / UCM-UCSI ACPI Device

Nothing on Gigabyte's website seems to correspond to this.

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X870E-AORUS-ELITE-WIFI7/support#support-dl-driver-chipset

Any idea about how I should solve this?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Best,

-a-

What was your old hardware? Are these devices important? As long as you don't have problems such as certain I/O not working then it's probably something unimportant, just disable them if there is no problems.

I believe its related to USB-c ports but I cannot test them at the moment

If you don't use your USB-C ports I would probably just not worry about it for now until you can test it. Disable them, it may not even be required, anything related to ACPI is probably power management related.
