Latest Opera browser hangs

After the latest update Opera keeps moving very slowly, as if lacking resources. My system is in my profile, it's certainly not a issue of lacking hardware.

Behaving lihe there was not enough RAM or CPU would be overloaded. No issue with Chrome, Firefox, Thorium nor with Edge.

Tried reinstalling, still the same. Any advice?

You mention reinstalling, but does that include trying to install an older version as well? This would help rule out whether something broke somewhere or if it's just the latest version that is borked.

Good advice! Opera 112 works just fine. Guess I'll report to Opera forums at some point.
