I am thinking of swapping my pc case to a hyte y70 and getting new Corsair ql fans and don’t know how many I would need. I also have a Deepcool ls720 cooler that I would want to switch the fans from the stock Deepcool ones to the Corsair ones and don’t know if that is possible. My current build is listed below.

You can swap the fans on the deepcool AIO to any 120x25mm fans. If you want better cpu temps, you could go for thicker fans like Antec's 120x30mm if you want, but those dont have any lighting at all. The 7800x3d is a cool running chip overall so there is no thermal reason to swap our the stock fans, but if you like the look of the corsair QL fans you can swap those on to this cooler. The Hyte Y70 will be a massive improvement in airflow over your thermaltake case you have now. Use the side or top mount for your radiator but ensure you mount the radiator tubes down when you are using the side mount, if the tubes dont reach, use the top mount. This will improve the longevity of your aio and its noise characteristics.

Hope this helps and feel free to ask any more questions!

swapping case requires the graphics card and power supply to come out separately, as well as any hard drives, but the motherboard can keep the CPU cooler, ram, CPU, and any M.2 drives installed while you move

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

How difficult was building the PC for you?  It's just taking it back apart, then doing the exact same thing you already did once.

We can't know how difficult this is for you, but you have all the info you need to make that call for yourself.

I am swapping cases soon and wanted to know what order is best to take things out the old case and to put in the new. Should I pre install all the new fans I am getting or do that after the motherboard is in. I am getting the Hyte y70 and 10 Lian li fans and don’t know what order to do anything in

There is no right answer to this. As sometimes the fans will be in the way of installing the motherboard. So many times you'll want to install the motherboard first. However other times you'll want to run wires behind the motherboard (carefully, don't pinch anything).

My general rule of thumb is to go with the motherboard first, then move to the fans. However as I mentioned, don't make this a hard rule, as you may need to change it as you go.

the only reason to install all the fans before the motherboard is when  the motherboard and stuff is on a test bench and is being tested / u install windows on it outside the case. then u can save some time and do fans, RGB stuff and other wire-jobs

When I built my niece's PC, I didn't notice how little space there was above the mobo. I ended up having it mostly put together but couldn't get the top fans in. ARGH!!! I had to remove so many parts! What a pain!

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

I dont know that is the most comfortable way for me

Find it to be way easier for cable management

but again, there is no good way to do it

It mostly depends on the parts you have, what's connected to the case, and differences between the 2 cases, like dimensions.

Kind of a bizarre question to ask. Did you actually assemble your own PC? Think of that, but in reverse. In fact, it's easier because undoing cable routing is easier and faster than setting it up.

It may be easier or harder to assemble the new PC depending if the new case is easier or harder to assemble in compared to the previous PC?

He says he did, so it's an odd question.
