2fa issues

Go to solution Solved by PaxGrime,

Its definitely posssible to on github

And a manager is HIGHLY recommended in this day and age, as mentioned, bitwarden is the unofficial leader in the password manager space, it has support for what you want and is easy and free to use on any device.

I use github, and it says i need to get 2fa or i will not be able to edit my projects. I don't have a phone, so i cant do that. I ased my parents to get me one, since I need it, but they insist it isn't necessary and that I will get distracted from school. what do i do? is there a way to get 2fa on browser? please help.

Are you sure it would work as an alternative for 2FA? would github recognize it as one? I will still try it out.
