So ive had this around for 2 years now and during those 2 years I've never had problem with my computer until a few weeks into September my pc could not turn on after a morning I tried diagnosing the computer removing parts to see if it would turn on or not but no avail until I left the pc disconnect for a entire day and plug it back and it worked but it would only work for almost 12 hours straight only for it to shutdown without warning, trying to turn it on again would just shutdown immediately, leaving the computer completely disconnected without power for another half day ish would make the pc turn on again but turn off after another 12 hours of use.

Currently I tried replacing the RAM but it did nothing

I Removed all the ssd and hdd but nothing

I Disconnected everything to the Motherboard and Nothing (I left the cpu fan connected and I did try without it)

Removed the GPU and nothing

I don't have a spare PSU so I couldn't test if it was the PSU

Specs:

16gb ddr4 3200 team group x2: Ram

h610M-E D4: Motherboard

Smart BM2 550W: psu

Dual RTX3060-012G-V2 Asus: gpu

i5-12400F: cpu

1x M.2 Nvme 1TB ssd
1x M.2 Nvme 512gb ssd

I know you said you don't have a spare PSU, but can you verify that the PSU is working by checking if the PSU fan spins when you try to turn it on?

Unfortunately regardless of not having a spare PSU, that's the next part to replace to test.

I do have a PSU arriving by this Thursday hopefully which is a "Thermaltake GF1 (2024) Fully Modular ATX 850W Power Supply - 80 Plus Gold - Ultra Quiet - Zero RPM, PS-TPD-0850FNFAGU-P"

If it's just turning on for a second then turning off I would think it's the motherboard. That same thing happened to me multiple times, changing out the board fixed it.

Motherboards can be really fragile and just stop working out of nowhere a lot, especially if you have a more budget board.

That's the plan to change the motherboard if the new PSU doesnt fix the problem

Sweet. If you can update this when you try out your solutions I'd love to hear your progress. Good luck!

Are CPU and GPU temps normal? Are there any clues in Event viewer(assuming your OS is Windows)?

if I remember correctly the CPU and GPU temps are always normal they never go over avg

I don't remember what was the last log on the even viewer but normally it was due to power shutoff but I can't check right now bc it can't turn on for now

eh, that's like reinstalling windows every time there's an issue... i have a msi b350m bought in 2017, used for several years daily with overclocks... its still working fine and cost 60 bucks (so ultra budget)... what's more likely is that the ram or pcie slot got dirty, cmos battery died, cable(s) got loose etc etc.  same thing for people who's cpu "broke"... cpus usually don't just break,  it probably was just some incompatibilities or not seated properly and that's why the new cpu is suddenly working (changing another component would have had the same result tho perhaps)

btw windows 10 install from 2017 also still up and running!  👍

First thing I noticed is that the pc does not post using dual channel but it does boot on the other channels
