I just got new parts in for an upgrade, I'm having an issue with the CPU power connectors.

Motherboard is a gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX Ice rev1 and a i5 14600kf.

There's 2 8 pin connectors for the CPU.

But my PSU, Corsair RM850x only has 3 connectors for pcie/CPU, and I'm using 2 of those for the 4070ti.

Can I use only 1 8pin connector for the CPU?

EPS is for CPU, and PCIe is for GPU,

RM 850x should have 2 EPS 4+4 cables

RM850x has 2 connectors for CPU and then 3 others PCie connectors

Pretty sure of it as I have one and use all of them 🙂
