Instructions unclear. Proceeding with Diagnosis. Please read bold questions first.

Do you want to move just files, like my documents?

Create a share, copy files over network or use a USB stick.

Do you want to be able to use installed programs from PC1 on PC2?

Shouldn't be just copied over. Clone PC1 replacing PC2's entire OS and files.

Do you want to move a non-OS secondary storage drive from PC1 to PC2.

This is as simple as opening the case and unplugging that drive and then plugging into PC2, plug & play but permissions should be reapplied.

So lets say PC1 has windows 10? and PC2 win 11. Then just plug in the ssd from PC1 into PC2. Check in BIOS that its booting from the right SSD. After booting up PC2. Go to the user folder and copy whatever you want from PC1 to PC2. Then plugin the SSD to PC1 again after you're done.
