Evening

Installed the Nvidia beta app on my rig (have had it on before).

Installed fine but under certain sections options are no longer accessible.

Under graphics setting everyone of my games comes up with ! This system doesnt support optimisation. 1st screenshot

Also under video tab there are ! Next to video super resolution and high dynamic range and both say on but inactive. Screenshot 2

Seems like something random is happening thats causing this

Had this issue before (on previous system, same hardware, except different drive) and managed to fix it (like 2 months ago), cannot find the forum post I found previously (was an Nvidia forum post).

I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling app ,clean install of drivers, updated drivers, windows fully up to date.

Been searching the Internet for hours and cannot find Any solution to fix and it's really annoying me.

Specs

5600X

Aorus B550 M/B

16 GB (2X8GB)Corsair 3600mhz DDR 4

EVGA RTX 2070 Super XC Ultra

WD850X

Windows 10

Was working fine before.

Last time it was just something daft that caused it to start showing this option on the app.

Does anyone have any information or help with this issue and it's really annoying me and I cannot seem to fix it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Beta is not a full release and can contain bugs.

You can report bugs in beta software on Nvidia's forum.

Uninstall the beta version and install the latest stable release.

I have the latest version from https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/software/nvidia-app/

Latest version is NVIDIA_app_beta_v10.0.2.207.exe which is the one I have installed.

There is only a beta app of this available (unless I'm missing something).

Found a couple of posts like these but they are few and few between. Extremely small amount of people with this problem.

Ah, I haven't really been following. I thought Nvidia released the Nvidia App a while back and you were on a newer beta version. GeForce Experience (which was rebranded to Nvidia App) would be the latest stable release.

GeForce Experience has the same "optimise" feature for games. Does it allow you to do it through GeForce Experience?

Its Beta for a reason. The app is a replacement for GFE but also the old Nvidia Control Panel, though its still got quite a while before its complete. When installing a Beta you're doing so understanding that its a work in progress and there will be bugs, so you should report them.

I've been using it since day 1, the only option that's in there but not working is RTX HDR with multiple displays connected.

Everything else they've added has been fine and is much easier to use than that old Nvidia Control Panel.

If you're not ready to test Beta software, I suggest uninstalling it and going back to GeForce Experience.
