Hi guys, i am new here and I came to you with a problem i ve been having for some time.

To get the story straight, I made a PC with some parts laying around for my sister to play minecraft and sims.

The specs are:

- i5 6402p

- 16 gb of ram

-rx 550 2gb

- an old hdd that I had lying around

I installed all the amd drivers, no problems

Then some visual artifacs came around and I dont know of it is the graphics card or the old hdd that I used.

I will attach some pictures, i saw that the artifacts are appearing on blue-green colors more often which seems weird, i have never seen this before in my life.

I have to mention that I am using a cheap monitor with VGA to a cheap adapter to hdmi, and I think this can be the cause of the problem too.

I used the same configuration to another monitor, the artifacts did not appear, but on this actual configuration there are Times when the artifacts appear and dissapear.

My question is what is the problem? The graphics card, the old hdd or the VGA to hdmi adapter? Or maybe even the monitor. Any help would be much appreciated

The artifacts are more prone to show up on the windows background.

This artifacts dont show if I take a screenshot

The issue is either the cable, the adapter, or the monitor.

I forgot to mention that i used the same monitor and adapter with my main pc as a second monitor plugged in the integrated graphics on a ryzen 5 7600 and i did not have that issue
