I am trying to set up my older ASUS ROG G20 computer. I just purchased a new Samsung Odyssey 32" monitor, while hooking up my computer to this monitor I discovered this problem. My computer will randomly not display a picture through its HDMI or Display port. I have to randomly unplug or plug in the HDMI cable into one of the two slots over and over until the display decides to work. What could be causing this? Is this fixable? Please help!!!!

As a part of your setup did you reinstall Windows? If so did you update your GPU drivers via Geforce experience or manually downloading them and installing them from Nvidias download page?

If both the HDMI and the DP port are not working right and it's a brand new monitor it's likely the card, either a physical problem or software first thing I check is drivers.

I just updated my Intel Driver software. I honestly didn't even know that was a thing. I did factory reset the computer and reinstall windows when I set up my computer, so hopefully this solves the issue. I'm just nervous to even try and see if it fixed it because I don't want to not have my computer work again...
