Budget (including currency): ~750,- euros

Country: Netherlands

Other details I have a small msi pre built but I'm looking to upgrade since I am a 4 or 5 generations behind on my cpu and alot of the times I try to play mid demanding games my PC restarts I think it's because I have a 450 watt psu with a 3060 ti and i5 10400f so I was looking at some new parts I would like to keep the 3060 ti since it still works very well and is only 1 generation behind https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/R8T6Cd this is the list I have right now for the upgrade I am looking for pure performance I want it to run 1440p at around 100 to 120 fps I play mostly story games so the fps isn't really a worry for me but I just want it to look good without having to worry that it drops below 80 fps does anyone have any tips

5700x3D.

3060ti is still a decently capable GPU, but you're not going to be running past medium in a lot of games at 1440p, especially for texture settings. Building a whole new rig around a 5700x3D to drop your 3060ti into is entirely reasonable for 750 euros.

It might be possible to squeeze a 7800x3D in, but that might not be necessary. If its possible, then I would do it instead, if it doesn't stretch the budget too much.

Builder/Enthusiast/Overclocker since 2012 with a focus on SFF/ITX since 2014.

Well the thing is for me a 5700x3D is already around 50 euros more expensive so by doing that I will first have am4 instead of am5 and ddr4 wich is fine but I will need to upgrade it again sooner and my 3060 ti runs around the high to very high settings most of the time I don't think I have any game below high so I really don't want to upgrade that
