Budget (including currency): 500$ (US)

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games: Apex, Minecraft (heavily modded), Elden Ring, Civ 6; Programs: Blender, FL Studio

Other details: My current computer is a pre-built. It has an I7-9700f, a Random Mobo from ASRock, and some random power supply I'd like to ditch.

Parts that I am keeping include a Noctua NHU12S CPU cooler, 64gb of DDR4 RAM (corsair vengeance), and a 2060 Super (eventually this is the next to get upgraded). I have really nice peripherals and everything else already.

I would like to get (1) a new motherboard (DDR4 compatible); (2) a CPU; (3) a new case; and (4) a power supply.

I'm aiming for a smaller case size so ideally the board would be a micro-atx or mini-itx. Any recs on those 4 things would be awesome, especially the case because I'm worried about getting one that's too small and then the cooler won't fit.

Thanks!

What about this? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LYg9VW

Leaves enough money for your case. You only need to worry about your CPU cooler if the case is like a mini itx sff case, and in very rare cases some others. Maybe tell us the case you are interested in buying. A good one I'd recommend would be the Lian Li A3-mATX, but that's just me, and you may have different tastes.

Make sure to mark solutions, as it helps us find people who need help faster. Thanks!

I am human and am therefore prone to error, so I apologize if I make mistakes and I hope you understand.

Have a Nice Day!

7600 + 32gb 6000c30

you can buy the psu later as thats not a neccesary upgrade when the 7600 will consume less power than the 9700f, if you still want 64gb of ram just resell your current kit for the 100$ or so they go for and use that to get a 64gb ddr5 kit

13600/13700k(f) based

if you for whatever reason still want to keep the ddr4 set and be stuck on a dead end platform in the process then you can cash in on the idiots panic selling used intel chips whilst also getting better cpus and boards used rather than new

all you have to do is follow what buildzoid did with a max volt limit of 1.4/1.45v on his vids and no degradation issues, even with that a 13600k will still be miles ahead of a 12700k due to ipc and the extra ecores if you like to multitask
