Hello gamers,
Currently trying to figure out this bottomless issue and I can’t seem to figure it out for the life of me
So on every single game I play it seems to work for 30 mins to a hour but anytime I get into any kind of fight or where lots of things are going on my game freezes up and crashes I have also gotten bsods all related to drivers and or memory
And it all only started happening after I replaced my psu and gpu
I have tried many things like changing the drive where the game is located I have tried lowering the settings and lowering the temperatures on the gpu I ran memory tests and all came back okay I went as far as putting another gpu in my pc and the issue goes away so any idea what the issue could be? I even tested both drives for faults and nothing at all
I am stumped
Update:
The specs are
I5 9400
32 GB DDR4 ram
TC-885 motherboard
GTX 1080 aero oc
750 watt Corsair 80 plus silver psu
I have tried reinstalling windows and also have tried installing newer updates from nvidia

It happened after you replaced the PSU and GPU, and then when you put another GPU it works again?

I suspect it's the GPU that's bad. To be sure put that suspicious GPU in another pc, borrow a friend's pc if you don't have a spare. Run some tests and benchmarking, some games. If it fails on that pc then you know it's the GPU.

Correct I did memory tests on the gpu and came back ok, kinda suspecting its getting hot and just crashing as moments usually before a crash its at over 90c on every game even fortnite which isnt much gpu intensive and it randomly happens during long plays of games doesnt seem to happen right away which is why Im stumped

90c degrees is quite high. It should start to thermal throttle before that.

Are you overclocking it, disabled thermal throttle?

What power setting in Nvidia control panel do you use? If you're using that max power setting change it to balanced or normal or whatever it's called.

Does the case have a good airflow?

not even overclocking I think it may just be bad airflow on my part and using performance mode so might try that
