Hi, first post for me on this forum. Sorry if my English is bad.

I've used an xbox and mac book for a while, and want to get a gaming laptop. My budget is $800 us.

I mainly play simulation games: msfs 2020, ets2, ats, farming simulator 22, (and wrc 10).

I hope to play the games at minimum medium settings. The computer I'm currently looking at is an hp victus 15 with ryzen 5 7535hs, 16gb ram, and rtx 2050.

I also hope to use the same laptop for work as a student, so good battery life & lightweight would be nice.

What I was wondering is: Is this a good laptop for the price, or there are better ones out there? Are there any alternatives with better value?

Many thanks!
